Michel Nau with the Edelines, Claude, Georges, and his son Jacques

Georges and Claude Edeline are brothers in law of Francois Benoit, a former military officer during the Papa Doc Duvalier’s Regime. Duvalier became enraged when he learned that his son Baby Doc Duvalier escaped an assassination attempt, and suspected that Officer Benoit was behind it. Both families were massacred and their houses set on fire, even maids and dogs were killed. Few escaped miraculously. Georges and his son Jacques have written to several people who may have some information on the massacre, and are willing to share it with them. You may have relatives, or friends, who were eyewitnesses during this ordeal. They don't need to know the sources in case if you want to stay incognito.
