Nobody knew how to decipher the EGYPTIAN HIEROGLYPHICS.
During the napoleonic expedition in EGYPT they found a stone .This stone had both EGYPTIAN HIEROGLYPHICS AND GREEK.
One was the translation of the other;as everybody knew GREEK ;the stone was used as a base for the translation of the EGYPTIAN HIEROGLYPHICS |
