Bling king 'Jacob the Jeweler' zings Wyclef Jean with 319G suit

Disgraced king of bling "Jacob the Jeweler" is going after Wyclef Jean, claiming the songster stiffed his company for more than $300,000 in jewelry.
A suit filed against the music impresario accuses him of walking away from a $319,680 balance on jewelry bought from Jacob & Co. Watches Inc. - including a $225,000 Chopard watch and a $12,000 diamond Jesus head.
The suit, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, comes after the company's founder, Jacob Arabo, was sentenced last month to 2-1/2 years in federal prison for lying to federal investigators looking into a drug ring. The Russian jeweler to the stars has outfitted the likes of 50 Cent, Sean (Diddy) Combs, Eva Longoria and Verne (Mini Me) Troyer, but contends he ran into trouble trying to collect from the former Fugees star.
The suit claims Jean bought $765,100 in jewelry from Jacob & Co. over the years, including 4.85-carat diamond stud earrings that cost $30,000 and a $36,000 diamond lion head.
"Despite Jacob & Co.'s repeated demands for payment, to date, Jean has failed to pay off the outstanding balance," the suit says.
The Haitian activist and musician, who was born in Brooklyn, has raised millions of dollars through his foundation to build schools, train teachers and distribute food in Haiti.
Representatives for Jean could not be reached for comment.
