Do you think it is a good idea to buy some stocks of the three auto makers?I am asking this question to the people who are interested in their future?The Saints do not have to pay any attention.

Considering the latest unemployment figures published today, I think it is wise to buy the stocks of General Motors, Ford and Chrysler. There is no way that the Congress and the President will let these three big corporations go bankrupt.Therefore what should an investor do?Stay out of the stock market altogether or buy some cheap stocks that have the potiential to grow next year.I chose the second option.

It is at time like this that some people have made their fortune.I am confident by this month next year the economy will improve.The Dow Jones industrial could be well over the 14000 points.I am not saying that we have seen the bottom of the stock market yet ,but as far as the auto industry is concerned I think the potential exists for those investors who buy these stcoks right now to benefit tremendously.

Again I am reminding people who are reading this text that I am not an expert in the stock market ,my goal is only to help. Good luck; some time one has to take some risks.

Warren Buffet,the greatest investor of all time, said the same thing this week :It is time to buy american companies' sctocks;they are cheap.An example is Ford motor company's stocks which are selling for less than 3 dollars;GM at less than 5 dollars.The finance industy has similar companies .

Some people think that I am showing off in writing about the stocks markets.No my friends .my goal is not to do "Me vwa ti"(lol) ,but to show my fellow haitian- americans how a modern economy works.,and to incite them to participate in the stock market.I wish that the haitian newspapers and radios stations had a business section in the 70's.Instead of concentrating only on Duvalier they should have paid more attention to the avancement of their communities.

Fortunaltely for this generation we have the internet.We should not only concentrate on politics,but we should inform our people about the advantages that this country offered to those who are willing to learn and work hard in oder to change their living conditions.There are librairies in your negihborhoods where youn can take your children to read good magasines and news papers; there are museums where yo can take them; there are zoos;there are good programs on TV like the history channel , PBS etc.It is a duty for those of us who have lived in this country for a while to educate the new comers.

Evolution takes place through good communications and good education.Therefore it is the duty of those of us who get an education to help our brothers and sisters who are less fortunate .It is not showing off to give some financial advices to incite people to better their living conditions.It is not showign off to tell them to drink wine that can improve their health.It is not showing off to tell tem to invest in real estate.I remember in the early 70"s a group of female real estate agents came to my house to beg me to buy a 2 families house that was selling for less than 60000 dollars in Queens .Since I did not have enough money in my savings account at that time for the down payment ,I contacted a member of my family to buy the house together.He said to me:"menm yon poul mwen pap achte ak moun ."Why did he said that?Because of ignorance.Had we buy the house at that time today both families will be better off .

It this to prevent the loss of opportunities of this kind that I write about the stock market or the real estate market.If I wanted to show off I will go to haiti from time to time to show the people how rich I become.Or I would do as certain haitians do:rent expensive cars to go to a dancing hall or to a funeral to show off their wealth.I would buy a million dollar home and pay the monthly mortgage with our pension and social security checks.I would not save anythng for my children and grand children.
