Subject: Draft solicitation for Obama administration candidates
Dear NOAH friends and members
Last week, The National Haitian American Elected Officials Network
(NHAEON) held its inaugural conference in Washington DC. NOAH is proud
to have been a participant and a host for this historical meeting of
dynamic Haitian-American leaders.
One of the speakers at the NHAEON conference was Mr. Patrick Gaspard,
Director White House Office of Political Affairs. As you are aware,
Mr. Gaspard is the highest level Haitian-American in the White House
and the first person of color ever to hold such an esteemed post.
During our meeting, Mr. Gaspard urged NHAEON and NOAH to forward him a
list of candidates to immediately recommend for positions in the
administration:
To assist us in compiling such a list, we ask that you submit to us a
copy of your resume, and that you indicate the top 3 spots for which
you would like to be considered. We must have your information on
hand by 5pm, November 12, for your CV to be included in the list. You
may research possible administration positions in the following links:

For each of the positions of interest to you, you must have
demonstrable experience that qualifies you for the position, the
educational background, and management experience. It is not
sufficient that you are employed in the industry generally. For
quality control, NHAEON and NOAH at their sole discretion reserve the
right to exclude any resumes from the list that do not appear to match
the qualifications for the position requested.
Please send an email to xxx@gmail.com by the due date in the following
format:
1. Subject: [Job Title] Candidate
2. In the body of the email, a brief description of yourself, your
qualifications, and your campaign experience (if any) written in third
person (i.e. Mr. Fritz is an Haitian-American with ten years of legal
experience providing advice and counsel to large corporations
defending complex criminal and civil matters. His experience . . .).
This makes it easier to convert the information you present into a
cover letter for the recommendation.
3. A resume that is no longer than 3 pages.
