Haiti - Politic : «Polite» answer of Mirlande Manigat to the President Michel Martelly
Following the announcement Thursday, of the intention of President Michel Martelly to meet with former Presidents of Haiti, including Leslie Manigat, as part of a dialogue and of national reconciliation, Mirlande Manigat, wife of the former Head of State, trivializes the approach of the President Martelly and is ready to receive him if the latter asks him.

We never had a problem to talk with him [President Martelly] and anyway, it is a tradition that there is in Haitian political life, that the new Heads of States meet with former Head of State who are living in the country.
