.PORT-AU-PRINCE, HAITI (defend.ht) - Haitian police announced Friday the closing of a nightclub that would have been a place of sexual depravity involving minors. School children were exposed to sex and drugs in an "After School" musical program at Stanley Club whose owner was taken into custody.
A score of uniformed schoolchildren were briefly detained Friday in the early evening following a police raid in a dance club in Bois-Verna (center of Port-au-Prince) called Stanley Club whose owner was taken into custody, reports Radio Kiskeya.
Young people were participating in a weekly musical program called "After School" when police officers conducted the operation.
Parents of adolescents were able to retrieve their children. Club owner, Stanley Matteis, was detained to be questioned.
Divisional Inspector Joel Casséus, said that the detained minors consumed alcohol, smoked marijuana in the torrid atmosphere of Stanley Club.
At the release of a very libertine tune, said the policeman, the girls would stand on tiptoe, head thrown forward, lifted their skirts and invited the boys to [not appropriate for DH].
Several hundred students participating in this After School musical program would be mostly gone before the raid, says the police announcing the closure of the dancehall.
