|Sujet: What should be done about what happened in Connecticut? Dim 16 Déc 2012 - 17:24|| |
I know this is not the time to blame people for what happened in Connecticut, but to find a solution to these horrific crimes. However, one is astonished by the irresponsibility of the mother of this mentally ill young man who not only bought these guns ,but took this disturbed young man to a shooting range. What was the purpose of teaching this disturbed boy how to shoot an automatic rifle? Was the mother also a mentally sick person?
It is not enough to have a background check on the buyers of these automatic fire arms;a responsible government should also seize all these arms that are purchased by members of their immediate families.I applaud Mayor Bloomberg and ex Governor Randell on Meet the Press.Governor Randell said;If a member of Congress is so afraid of the NRA he or she doesn't have the courage to do what is right to defend innocent childrend in this country he or she should resign.
Somebody said this morning :that legislative election is as important as presidential ones ,I agree .It is not suffice to console the parents of the victims in a moment like this we must put our money where our mouths are.The NRA and the tea party don't have more power than us.We,the people ,have the power to elect politicians who represent us in Congress. We must remember this in 2014.It is not too early to put this tragedy in the context of politics, because it is the result of poor decisions made by politicians
